Essential Reading on Value Investing
Benjamin Graham's "The Intelligent Investor" is a great introduction to value investing. Value investing is basically about buying stocks when they are "on sale," at a discount to their Net Asset Value (also known as fair price or intrinsic value). The focus of this investing style is on fundamental analysis which looks at a company's financial statements. Buying stocks at discount to their intrinsic value means limited downside and greater upside potential. Great book well worth reading.
